While it goes without saying that Romeo Miller is better than your average rapper/athlete, turns out Miller is going to turn out to be what I have long suspected. According to NPR, Romeo Miller's relationship with McDonald's All American, Demar Derozean, made him a package deal with USC coach Tim Floyd.
“I think Tim Floyd did what he had to do to acquire an All-American prospect, namely DeMar DeRozan and it cost him two scholarships,” High school basketball talent scout Bob Gibbons admitted to NPR.
If you know anything about grassroots basketball, you know that Bob Gibbons is a guy who knows what the fuck he is talking about at this level.
Another highly recognized basketball scout and colleague of Gibbons, Rob Matera, furthered the argument against Romeo’s over-hyped on-court skills by explaining his observations of the player at a Nike ABCD Camp.
“I think he played poorly. I thought he was one of the worst players in the camp,” Matera firmly told NPR.
