The chances of seeing College Basketball's shining star in the dance took a hit last night when Davidson was bounced from the semifinals of the Southern Conference tournament. With their weak strength of schedule, wins against RPI top 50, and the fact that their team simply isnt as good as it was last year, the Wildacts might have to make a trip to the Garden in the NIT as apposed to the Big Dance this year. I know i'm not in the minority when I say I hope to see this kid play a couple of more games before bouncing to the League to drop buckets (and drop buckets he will). With the targets squarely on their backs all year, the Wildcats were not going to surprise anyone this year. Still, whether it be on CBS or ESPN, Stephen Curry is going to remind the basketball world why he is the most fascinating hooper not getting an NBA check.
